Its headquarters is in Ogbomoso and currently headed by Chairman Oladeji A. Olanrewaju. The local government serves as a home to one of Nigeria's best institution of learning, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) and it teaching hospital(still under construction).
